Anissa Gray

  • Anissa Gray is an award-winning journalist turned novelist.

  • Born and raised in western Michigan, she graduated from Western Michigan University and earned a Masters in English from NYU. Gray worked as a print reporter for Reuters in Manhattan before moving to Atlanta to pursue a career in broadcast journalism at CNN. There, she received Emmy and duPont awards for her contributions to major news coverage.

  • After more than two decades in journalism, Gray transitioned to fiction writing, drawing on her storytelling experience to craft her debut novel.
