History
Arkady Ostrovsky is a Russian-born British journalist with extensive experience reporting from Moscow.
He has worked for the Financial Times and The Economist, covering Russian politics, business, and culture.
Ostrovsky holds a doctorate in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and has a particular interest in Russian and English theatre history.
He has contributed to academic publications and translated Tom Stoppard's trilogy "The Coast of Utopia" into Russian.
Ostrovsky is also an author and broadcaster, having written a book about Stanislavsky and Shakespeare and contributed to various radio and television programs worldwide.
He lives in Moscow with his family.
