Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Dutch feminist, writer, and politician born in Somalia in 1969.

She sought asylum in the Netherlands in 1992 and later became a member of the Dutch parliament.

Known for her criticism of Islam, Ali faced death threats after co-creating the film "Submission." She has received numerous awards for her work on human rights and has been named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people.

Ali is currently a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, working from an undisclosed location due to security concerns.
