Ayaz Virji

Ayaz Virji is a Muslim doctor who moved his family from the East Coast to rural Minnesota to practice medicine in an underserved area.

After the 2016 election, he experienced increased discrimination and began giving lectures to educate his community about Islam.

Virji co-authored "Love Thy Neighbor" to share his experiences and promote understanding between different faiths and cultures.

He continues to practice medicine in Dawson, Minnesota, while also speaking about religious tolerance and combating Islamophobia.
