Caro Carver is the pen name for an established author previously published as C.J. Cooke.
She holds a PhD in literature from Queen's University Belfast and teaches Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow.
Carver has written several gothic fiction novels under her other pen name, with works published in 23 languages.
Bad Tourists is her first thriller as Caro Carver, set to be released in 2024 and optioned for a TV series.
The author enjoys setting her thrillers in warm, sunny locations despite living in Scotland.
She is currently working on her second thriller, scheduled for publication in 2025.
