Chris Pérez

Chris Pérez is a musician and author best known as the lead guitarist for Selena y Los Dinos and the husband of Selena Quintanilla.

Born in 1969 in San Antonio, Texas, Pérez joined Selena's band in 1990 and secretly began dating her, despite her father's disapproval.

They eloped in 1992.

After Selena's tragic death in 1995, Pérez struggled with grief and eventually formed his own band, the Chris Pérez Band.

In 2012, he published "To Selena, With Love," sharing his memories of life with Selena.

Pérez has since remarried and continues his music career while honoring Selena's legacy.
