Douglas Preston

Douglas Preston is an American author born in 1956 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

He grew up in Wellesley, where he and his brothers gained local notoriety for their mischievous experiments.

After studying various subjects at Pomona College, Preston worked at the American Museum of Natural History, which inspired his first thriller, "Relic," co-authored with Lincoln Child.
