Frank Charles Laubach was a Congregational Christian missionary, literacy advocate, and mystic.

He developed the "Each One Teach One" literacy program, which has helped millions learn to read worldwide.

Laubach founded Laubach Literacy, now part of ProLiteracy Worldwide.

He authored numerous devotional works, including "The Game with Minutes," which encouraged constant focus on God.

Laubach's letters, published as "Letters by a Modern Mystic," detail his experiments in prayer.

He was honored on a US postage stamp in 1984, the only American missionary to receive this recognition.

Laubach's work in literacy and spirituality has had a lasting global impact.
