Hergé

Georges Prosper Remi , known by the pen name Hergé, was a Belgian comics writer and artist best known for creating The Adventures of Tintin.

Born in 1907, he began the Tintin series in 1929 and continued until his death in 1983.

Hergé's work evolved over time, reflecting changes in society and his own views.

His meticulous research and social commentary elevated Tintin to a masterpiece of 20th-century literature.

Hergé's clear line style, known as "ligne claire," greatly influenced European comics.

Besides Tintin, he also created other comic series like Quick & Flupke and The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko.
