Ian Brady
Ian Brady was a British serial killer, one half of the infamous "Moors Murderers" duo alongside Myra Hindley.
They were responsible for the murders of five children in the 1960s.
Brady was known for his high intelligence and spent decades in prison, where he wrote "The Gates of Janus." He was well-read and articulate, but also narcissistic and unrepentant.
Brady's writings reveal a nihilistic worldview and attempts to justify his actions through philosophical arguments.
He died in prison in 2017, never revealing the location of one victim's body despite pleas from the family.
