Ice-T

Tracy Marrow , known professionally as Ice-T, is an American musician and actor born in Newark, New Jersey.

After moving to Los Angeles and serving in the U.S. Army, he began his rap career in the 1980s.

Ice-T gained fame with his solo albums and as the founder of the rap metal band Body Count.

He faced controversy over his song "Cop Killer" but continued to release music throughout the 1990s.

Since 2000, Ice-T has been known for his role as Detective Odafin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
