Jackson Pearce

Jackson Pearce is an Atlanta-based author who began writing at age twelve after being unable to find a book that met her specific criteria.

She graduated from the University of Georgia with an English degree and Philosophy minor.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Pearce held various jobs including obituary writer, waitress, and receptionist.

She currently lives with a cat and writes young adult fiction, particularly fairy tale retellings.

Pearce's writing career started as a childhood hobby but has since become her profession, with her parents' initial amusement turning to concern over time.
