James Kakalios

James Kakalios is a physics professor at the University of Minnesota known for his work on amorphous semiconductors and as the author of The Physics of Superheroes.
He began collecting comic books as a stress-relief method during graduate school and later developed a popular freshman seminar connecting physics to superheroes.
This led to widespread media attention, lectures, and the publication of his book.
