Janna Levin

Janna Levin is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Barnard College of Columbia University.

She holds a BA in Physics and Astronomy with a concentration in Philosophy from Barnard College and a PhD in Physics from MIT. Her research focuses on the Early Universe, Chaos, and Black Holes.

Levin has authored several popular science books, including "How the Universe Got Its Spots" and "A Madman Dreams of Turing Machines," which won the PEN/Bingham Fellowship.

She has also written essays for art exhibitions and appeared on various radio and television programs, demonstrating her ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to a wider audience.
