Jillian Lauren is a bestselling author known for her memoirs and novels.
Her most famous work, "Some Girls: My Life in a Harem," details her experiences in the harem of the Prince of Brunei and has been translated into 18 languages.
Lauren has also written "Everything You Ever Wanted," chronicling her adoption journey, and "Behold the Monster," about her encounters with serial killer Samuel Little.
With an MFA in Creative Writing, her work has appeared in various publications and anthologies.
Lauren is a regular performer with The Moth and has been interviewed on major television shows.
She is married to Scott Shriner, bassist for Weezer, and they live in Los Angeles with their son.
