John R. Lott Jr.

John Richard Lott Jr. is an American economist and political commentator born in 1958.

He has held positions at prestigious institutions including the University of Chicago, Yale University, and the University of Maryland.

Lott has also worked for the conservative think tank American Enterprise Institute and currently contributes to Fox News as an opinion writer.
