Jon G. Allen, Ph.D. is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine.
He holds honorary and adjunct faculty positions at the Houston Center for Psychoanalytic Studies and the Institute for Spirituality and Health.
Allen retired from The Menninger Clinic after 40 years, where he worked as a senior staff psychologist.
His roles included teaching, supervising, conducting psychotherapy, diagnostic consultations, and leading research on clinical outcomes.
Although retired from clinical practice, Allen continues to teach, write, and consult in his field of expertise.
