Karina Robles Bahrin is a Malaysian author who began her writing career as a guest editor for a teen column in The New Straits Times.
Her short fiction has been published in various anthologies, including Urban Odysseys: KL Stories and KL Noir: Blue.
Bahrin has also worked as a columnist for The Heat, a weekly publication by Focus Malaysia.
Currently residing on the island of Langkawi, Malaysia, she continues to pursue her writing career.
The Accidental Malay marks her debut novel, showcasing her ability to tackle complex themes of identity, race, and religion in contemporary Malaysian society.
