Kathryn Paige Harden

Kathryn Paige Harden is a tenured professor of Psychology at the University of Texas Austin, where she leads the Developmental Behavior Genetics lab and co-directs the Texas Twin Project.

She received her Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and completed her clinical internship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

Harden has published extensively on genetic influences on human behavior and development.

Her work has been featured in major media outlets, and she received a prestigious award from the American Psychological Association in 2017.

In addition to research, Harden teaches Introduction to Psychology in a massive online format.
