Kenneth Pomeranz is a distinguished historian and University Professor at the University of Chicago.
Born in 1958, he earned his B.A. from Cornell University and Ph.D. from Yale University under Jonathan Spence's guidance.
Pomeranz taught at UC Irvine for over two decades before joining the University of Chicago.
