Kristin Harmel is a bestselling author known for her historical fiction novels set during World War II. She began her writing career as a sportswriter and later worked as a magazine writer and television contributor.
Harmel's novels, including The Paris Daughter, have been translated into over 30 languages and sold worldwide.
Born near Boston, she studied journalism at the University of Florida and has lived in Paris and Los Angeles.
Currently residing in Orlando with her family, Harmel co-founded the web show and podcast Friends & Fiction.
Her writing focuses on themes of love, loss, and resilience during challenging historical periods.
