Larry J. Siegel
Larry J. Siegel was born in the Bronx in 1947 and studied at City College of New York.
Inspired by the social currents of the 1960s, he became interested in how culture influences behavior.
He pursued graduate studies in criminal justice at the State University of New York at Albany.
Siegel's academic career included teaching positions at Northeastern University, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Saint Anselm College, and the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
Now a Professor Emeritus, he continues to teach online.
Siegel has authored numerous books on crime and justice topics, including juvenile law, delinquency, criminology, and criminal procedure.
He is also a court-certified expert on police conduct.
