Louise Aronson

Louise Aronson is a geriatrician, writer, and professor of medicine at UCSF. She graduated from Harvard Medical School and the Warren Wilson Program for Writers.

Aronson has received numerous awards for her work in medicine and writing, including the Gold Professorship in Humanism in Medicine and four Pushcart nominations.

Her writing appears in various publications, such as The New York Times and JAMA. Aronson's book "Elderhood" became a New York Times bestseller and has been featured on major media outlets like NPR's Fresh Air and CBS This Morning.
