Madeline Ashby is a Toronto-based science fiction author and strategic foresight consultant.

She began writing fiction as a teenager and has published in various magazines and anthologies.

Ashby holds degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies and strategic foresight & innovation, with research focusing on anime, fan culture, cyborg theory, and border security.

She is a member of the Cecil Street Irregulars writers' workshop and is represented by Monica Pacheco of Anne McDermid & Associates.

Ashby's work often explores themes of technology, society, and human adaptation in near-future settings.
