Mark Batterson is the lead pastor of National Community Church in Washington, DC, a multi-location church known for innovative ventures like Ebenezers Coffeehouse and The Miracle Theatre.

He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University and has authored seventeen New York Times bestselling books, including "The Circle Maker" and "In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day."
