Matt Fraction

Matt Fraction began his storytelling journey at age 7, creating a newspaper about the U.S. invasion of Grenada.

He left college to work in web design and magazine editing, which led to co-founding a graphic design firm.

Fraction pursued comics writing in his spare time, eventually selling two books.

Despite the risks, he quit his job to become a full-time comic writer when his wife became pregnant.

His success with independent comics led to Marvel hiring him in 2006.

Fraction attributes his career shift to luck and determination, acknowledging the frightening nature of his decision to pursue his passion.
