Matthew Dicks

Matthew Dicks is a multifaceted individual with a diverse career.

He is an internationally bestselling author of novels and nonfiction, including "Storyworthy." Dicks is also an accomplished storyteller, winning multiple Moth StorySLAM and GrandSLAM championships.

He has shared stories on various platforms, including This American Life and TED. As an educator, Dicks has been teaching for 20 years and was a finalist for Connecticut Teacher of the Year.

He co-founded Speak Up, a storytelling organization, and teaches storytelling and public speaking worldwide.

Dicks is married to a fellow teacher and has two children.
