Mayte Garcia is a multi-talented artist known for dancing, acting, singing, and choreography.
Born on an Alabama military base to Puerto Rican parents, she gained fame as a dancer and background singer for Prince's New Power Generation from 1992 to 1996.
Garcia married Prince in 1996 at age 22, but they divorced in 2000.
She later appeared in films, television series, and the reality show Hollywood Exes.
Garcia is also an animal rights activist for PETA. Currently residing in Los Angeles with her adopted daughter Gia, she maintains a vegetarian lifestyle and continues to pursue her artistic endeavors.
