Michael Wood

Michael Wood is an English academic and literary critic, currently serving as Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Princeton University.

Born in Lincoln, England, he studied at St John's College, Cambridge.

Wood has taught at Columbia University and the University of Exeter before joining Princeton.

He has held several prestigious positions, including Director of the Gauss Seminars in Criticism and chair of Princeton's English department.
