Mike Savage

Mike Savage is a prominent British sociologist known for his work on social class and inequality.

He holds the position of Martin White Professor of Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Savage co-directed the BBC's Great British Class Survey, which forms the basis for much of the analysis in "Social Class in the 21st Century." His research interests include the study of social stratification, cultural sociology, and urban sociology.
