Moira Weigel

Moira Weigel is a historian and theorist of media technologies, specializing in digital media within a global context.

She co-founded Logic magazine and is the author of "Labor of Love: The Invention of Dating." Weigel's research focuses on the intersection of technology, feminism, and sexuality.

Her current project explores the history of "political correctness" as a concept.

With a PhD from Yale University, Weigel has been a fellow at Harvard and the Data and Society Institute.

She is set to join Northeastern University as an Assistant Professor in Communication Studies, continuing her work on digital media's impact on society and culture.
