Moira Young

Moira Young is a Canadian author based in the UK. Her debut novel, Blood Red Road, launched the Dustlands trilogy in 2011 to international acclaim.

The book won numerous awards, including the Costa Children's Book Award and the British Columbia Book Prize for Children's Literature.

Young's background as an actor and opera singer informs her storytelling.

The Dustlands trilogy has been published in 30 countries and is being developed for film by Ridley Scott.

Young's subsequent books in the series, Rebel Heart and Raging Star, have also received recognition and award nominations.
