Naomi Alderman
Naomi Alderman is a British author born in 1974 in London.
She studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and later pursued creative writing at the University of East Anglia.
Alderman's debut novel, Disobedience, was published in 2006 and won the Orange Award for New Writers.
It garnered both acclaim and controversy for its portrayal of a lesbian rabbi's daughter.
Alderman has also worked on interactive fiction projects, including the alternate reality game Perplex City.
Her father, Geoffrey Alderman, is an academic specializing in Anglo-Jewish history.
