Philip Reeve

Philip Reeve is a British author and illustrator born and raised in Brighton.

He began his career working in a bookshop while pursuing theatre projects.

Reeve later transitioned to illustration, contributing cartoons to numerous children's books, including popular series like Horrible Histories and Murderous Maths.

He has since become a successful author, known for his Mortal Engines series and other works like Railhead and Pugs of the Frozen North.

Reeve's writing often blends elements of science fiction, fantasy, and dystopian themes, aimed at young adult and middle-grade readers.
