Ramez Naam

Ramez Naam is an Egyptian-born computer scientist and author who immigrated to the US at age 3.

He spent 13 years at Microsoft, leading teams in various technological fields and holds nearly 20 patents.

Naam won the 2005 H.G. Wells Award for his non-fiction book on biological enhancement.

An adventurer at heart, he has climbed mountains, backpacked through China, and cycled along Vietnam's coast.
