Rebecca Simon

Rebecca Simon is a historian specializing in pirates and public executions, with a PhD from King's College London.

She has authored two books on pirates, "Why We Love Pirates" and "Pirate Queens," with a third book, "The Pirates' Code," set for release in 2023.

Simon is also working on a pirate novel.

A Los Angeles native, she balances her writing career with teaching history and various personal interests, including reading, singing, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.
