Robin DiAngelo

Robin J. DiAngelo is an American academic, lecturer, and author specializing in critical discourse analysis and whiteness studies.

She formerly held a tenured professorship in multicultural education at Westfield State University and is currently an Affiliate Associate Professor of Education at the University of Washington in Seattle.

DiAngelo is best known for coining the term "white fragility" in 2011, which describes the defensive reactions white people often display when confronted with their racial advantage.
