Roger Keeran
History
Roger Roy Keeran is an American historian and professor who taught at prestigious universities including Cornell, Princeton, and Rutgers.
He specialized in Labor and Policy studies, publishing notable works such as "The Communist Party and the Auto Workers' Unions" in 1980.
His co-authored book "Socialism Betrayed: Behind the Collapse of the Soviet Union" (2004) has been translated into multiple languages.
Keeran has contributed articles to various history and sociology journals throughout his career.
He retired in 2013 and is now Professor Emeritus at the Empire State College, State University of New York (SUNY).
