Sasha Costanza-Chock

Sasha Costanza-Chock is an Associate Professor of Civic Media at MIT and a scholar, activist, and media-maker.

Their work focuses on social movements, transformative media organizing, and design justice.

Costanza-Chock is affiliated with several institutions, including the Berkman-Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and the MIT Center for Civic Media.

They are the creator of the MIT Codesign Studio and author of "Out of the Shadows, Into the Streets: Transmedia Organizing and the Immigrant Rights Movement." Costanza-Chock serves on the board of Allied Media Projects and is committed to promoting media strategies for a more just and collaborative world.
