Scott Lynch

Scott Lynch was born in 1978 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He has worked various jobs, including dishwasher, waiter, and freelance writer.

His debut novel, The Lies of Locke Lamora, was published in 2004 and became a World Fantasy Award finalist in 2007.

Lynch trained as a volunteer firefighter in 2005.

In 2008, he received the Sydney J. Bounds Best Newcomer Award from the British Fantasy Society.

Lynch currently lives in Wisconsin with his cat, Muse, and is in a relationship with acclaimed SF/F writer Elizabeth Bear.
