Simone Arnold Liebster

Simone Arnold-Liebster is the author of Facing the Lion, a memoir recounting her experiences as a young Jehovah's Witness in Nazi-occupied Europe.

Born in Alsace, a region between France and Germany, Arnold-Liebster faced severe persecution for her faith during World War II. She was separated from her parents, who were sent to concentration camps, and forced into a Nazi reform school.

Despite intense pressure and abuse, she maintained her religious convictions.

After the war, Arnold-Liebster married a Jewish Holocaust survivor.

She has since become a respected speaker and author, sharing her story of survival and faith with audiences worldwide.
