Simone Elkeles

Simone Elkeles is a bestselling author of young adult novels known for her popular Perfect Chemistry series.

Born and raised in Chicago, she holds degrees in Psychology and Industrial Relations.

Elkeles's books have won numerous awards, including the RITA award from the Romance Writers of America.

She is particularly proud of being named Author of the Year by the Illinois Association of Teachers of English.

Outside of writing, Elkeles is involved in various activities, including being a Hockey Mom and Girl Scout leader.

Her writing focuses on teen relationships and romances, drawing from her own experiences as a teenager in the 1980s.
