Stanley McChrystal

Stanley Allen McChrystal is a retired U.S. Army General who served as Commander of International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces Afghanistan.
He previously led Joint Special Operations Command, credited with eliminating Al-Qaeda leader al-Zarqawi.
McChrystal's career ended controversially after critical remarks about administration officials in a Rolling Stone article.
Post-retirement, he teaches leadership at Yale University and co-founded a consulting firm.
McChrystal authored "My Share of the Task," a memoir released in 2013.
Born into a military family, he married Annie in 1977 and has one son.
