Stephen A. Schwarzman
Stephen A. Schwarzman is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of The Blackstone Group, a leading global investment firm.
Born in 1947, he grew up in Philadelphia and attended Yale University before earning his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Schwarzman began his career at Lehman Brothers, eventually becoming head of mergers and acquisitions.
In 1985, he co-founded Blackstone, which has since become one of the world's largest alternative asset managers.
Known for his business acumen and philanthropic efforts, Schwarzman has made significant donations to educational institutions and established the Schwarzman Scholars program.
