Thomas Asbridge is a renowned medieval historian specializing in the Crusades.
He earned his PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London, and now serves as Reader in Medieval History at Queen Mary, University of London.
Asbridge is the Founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Islam & the West.
His expertise is evident in his critically acclaimed books, including "The Crusades: The War for the Holy Land" and "The First Crusade: A New History." Asbridge's latest work, "The Greatest Knight," explores the life of William Marshal.
