Timothy Ware
Timothy (Kallistos) Ware is a prominent Eastern Orthodox theologian and author.
Born in England, he converted to Orthodoxy from Anglicanism in 1958.
Ware became a monk on Mount Athos and later a bishop in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
He has served as a lecturer at Oxford University, where he taught Eastern Orthodox studies.
Ware is best known for his books on Orthodox Christianity, particularly "The Orthodox Church" and "The Orthodox Way," which have become standard introductory texts for English-speaking readers.
