Torrey Peters

Torrey Peters is an acclaimed transgender author known for her novel Detransition, Baby, which was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction.

She has also written novellas including Infect Your Friends and Loved Ones and The Masker.

Peters holds an MFA from the University of Iowa and a Masters in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth.

Her writing explores complex themes of gender, identity, and relationships within the transgender experience.

Peters divides her time between Brooklyn and an off-grid cabin in Vermont, where she indulges her passion for riding a pink motorcycle.
