Philosophy
The authorship of The Urantia Book is attributed to anonymous celestial beings, with its content received between 1925 and 1955.
Dr. William S. Sadler and his wife Dr. Lena K. Sadler played crucial roles in its development through a group called the Forum.
The exact method of receiving the information remains undisclosed, but it allegedly involved a "contact personality" in a trance-like state.
The Sadlers, along with other family members and associates, formed the Contact Commission to process and proofread the material.
Urantia Foundation, established in 1950, became the custodian of the text and continues to publish and translate the book worldwide.
