W. Cleon Skousen (1913-2006) was a Canadian-born American author, lecturer, and teacher.
He served in the FBI for 16 years, worked as Chief of Police in Salt Lake City, and taught at Brigham Young University.
Skousen authored numerous books on politics, religion, and history, including the bestseller "The Naked Communist." He founded the National Center for Constitutional Studies, promoting education on the U.S. Constitution and Founding Fathers.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Skousen integrated religious perspectives into his work.
